Recording History:
Dave has worked at his art since 1993 on tape decks and an 8 – track analog recorder. He gained access to a Roland – VS1824 digital recorder in the year 2000. The recording of tracks which ended up being finished as RockSolidMusicVol.1 ensued. There were enough songs to make at least two full length CD's; but working alone and learning as you go can be a daunting task. It was decided to release a 6 song demo out of the first CD for the critics. At the end of 2004 the work was finally done. This included the monster 17 minute track "Lost in Transition". Over 100 copies of this disc were sold. To meet the desires of the listeners (not all wanted to listen to a 17 minute guitar solo), the order of the songs was changed. The rest of the CD was completed by the end of the next year 2005. Only 25 copies of this were printed (and sold) with CD liners and stickers.
RockSolidMusicVol.1 is available for download now!!! Click on Media at top of page and then download your favorite tracks!!!With what was already recorded in the RSMV.1 sessions, and until 2007 Dave worked on the rest of the tracks to RockSolidMusicVol.2. It is an 8 song CD which he feels holds some of his better tracks. The music was released in early 2008.
RockSolidMusicVol.2 is available for download now!!! Click on Media at top of page and then download your favorite tracks!!!In the summer of 2008 work began on what was meant for RockSolidMusicVol.2 but never made the cut. It will be recorded and released as permitted by the powers that be. There is enough material for more than two full length albums and is the best work to date. They may be released as singles periodically over the next few years and added to the digital download media section as they come. The main objective of these coming tracks is to reinvent our trademark sound with better production quality. Stay tuned!!
